Arctic Awe 2023 | Skis, Boots and Bindings

Now for a little bit of gear talk!

In summary...

Note that I buy my boots a full 2 sizes larger to accomodate my foot system and still ensure that there is plenty of wiggle room to keep the toes toasty.

On my feet I have the same set up that I use for winter mountaineering. Listed from inside out: wool liner sock, maple sap bag as vapour barrier, mohair thick plush sock on top.
