Pascale and Eva landed at the Walsh Col on the Donjek Glacier (9000ft) on their flight in with Icefield Discovery.
"I'll have been waiting in federal quarantine, territorial quarantine and then weather delays for 20 days! After preparing for 2 years, to finally be at this exciting point is truly a magical moment," wrote Pascale just before their departure earlier today.
They both wanted to be sure to extend a special thank you to Icefield Discovery for their hospitality during their wait and for the flight into basecamp.
The team was in high spirits and have already made an advance up the glacier from their starting point at the landing site.
