Another milestone!

After weeks of beach work, the main sail was raised and Nord Hus’ first sail was underway.  What a milestone!

We could never have gotten this far with the help of so many amazing people. We would like to highlight Matt Morris, who was the first to bring the boat from Knife River to Grand Marais and was on the beach for the whole rigging and first sail. Mark Gordon, who offered his expertise at every stop along the way, and gave Nord Hus a passing mark on its first sail. Also John Coon - master rigger who led our team on how to put it all together.
